13-YO Boy Suicide In Room As Deadly Blue Whale Game Claims 1st Victim In UP

The Blue Whale mystery continues to trap children and confound its critics...

The deadly Internet addiction has claimed its first sufferer in UP’s Hamirpur district, said police, when Parth Singh who is 13-year-old commit suicide by hanging in his bedroom was found in Maudaha village. He was in 6th class.

The police said that his father's phone in his hand in which the Blue Whale game, that controls the mind of player to commit suicide after 50 challenges, was when the body was taken down.
13 year old, Parth had been playing Blue Whale game from the past few days, according to a family.

When the family said not to play, he started using his father's cell phone when he was not around.

On that day, he was supposed to attend a friend's birthday party but rather than this he locked himself in the bedroom.

When he did not open the door, his father Vikram Singh, broke open the door and found him committed suicide by hanging.

Maudaha circle officer (CO) Abhishek Yadav told IANS the suicide seems to have been triggered by the blue whale game and a probe is underway.

"We are sending IT experts to go through the mobile records and history," he added.


The Director General of Police Sulkhan Singh, in a letter to all district police chiefs, had asked for complete compliance with the order of the Union Government banning the dangerous game.
