Manchester Bomber’s Sister Reveals The Reason Why Salman Abedi Did It

New information about the Manchester attack and the terrorist behind the suicide bombing is being discovered every day. As we learn more about the devastating suicide bombing, more and more people are coming together to show support and solidarity in a time of suffering and pain.
New information is also being revealed about those responsible for the bombing. The latest update may tell us why the person responsible for the bombing did what he did.
Salman Abedi is the 22-year-old suicide bomber who committed the horrific terrorist attack. At this time, five others have been arrested in connection with the bombing and authorities are still looking for more people who aided him in the attacks. Abedi’s sister recently revealed why her brother may have committed the horrific act. You can read about it below.

Salman Abedi’s sister is Jomana Abedi. She is 18 years old.

Jomana has stated that she believes her brother committed the atrocious act because he was seeking revenge for the deaths of Muslim children in the Middle East.

“I think he saw children – Muslim children – dying everywhere, and wanted revenge. He saw the explosives America drops on children in Syria, and he wanted revenge. Whether he got that is between him and God,” Jomana told the Wall Street Journal.

The terrorist attack killed 22 innocent people, mostly young children, and left over 100 more injured.

Another unnamed friend of Abedi said that the attack could have perhaps been revenge for the murder of his friend in Manchester, which happened last year.

His friend, Abdul Wahab Hafidah, was killed in what was a suspected gang attack last year. It is reported that at the funeral, Salman Abedi vowed that he would get revenge for the death of his friend.
Jomana recently said in an interview that she was surprised at what her brother did, stating that he was a kind and loving person.
Ms. Abedi’s attempt to justify the reasoning behind the attack has been deemed as disgusting and abhorrent. It is also not the right time to rationalize a terrorist attack, so soon after it happened.
The Syrian attacks in question occurred last month when the US military fired over 50 missiles in Syria. Six Syrian soldiers were reported to have died because of the missile strike.
In addition to the deaths of the Syrian soldiers, the missile strike also destroyed 90 percent of the entire base.
Officials from Syria have also stated that the attack killed nine civilians. Four of those civilians were children.

“Any kid losing their life is heartbreaking, but to my knowledge, no children in the allied air strikes have been targeted purposely unlike in Manchester,” said Manchester resident Mark Session in an interview with the Mirror.

“It is sick to justify the arena bombing in such a way. It is abhorrent in fact,” he continued. Abedi’s younger brother Hashim has also been arrested, and it is being reported that he knew that his brother was planning the attack.

Abedi’s father, Ramadan, has been arrested although it is not confirmed that he had anything to do with the attacks. He has been steadfast in defending his son, saying that his son would not commit such a crime: “We don’t believe in killing innocents. This is not us,” he said in an interview.

A friend of the family, who wishes to remain anonymous, says that Abedi did not seem to show any signs of violence: “He was always friendly, nothing to suggest (he was violent). He was normal, to be honest,” he told the Press Association.

British police continue to investigate what happened on the night of May 22, while others around the world are left with profound sadness and unanswered questions about why or how such a tragic event could take place.
